Re: My take on Dragan

It's a pretty good photo for the Dragan effect, having some great textures. However, I think the subject's expression doesn't quite work for this dark, foreboding style. The grin seems out of place. But then again, who knows!

Thanks Saby. Must tell you that PSP 9 is my primary graphics program, on which I have installed quite a few plugins. Have also been known to hop over to PS 6 and pick up an action or two, or a filter from Elements.

Guess I really should change that. I first put it there to let people know I wasn't using PS and could not use techniques, tutorials, etc from Photoshop.

This one was done starting in PSP and using scripts and Lucis art.

I used LucisArt (exposure) to start & end on Portaiture.
In between combination of adjustments & masking.

P.S. Palms, nice style.
& thanks Saby

Re: My take on Dragan

Here's my take on the dragan style.

A good amount of dodge and burning, used an overlay darken lighten sharpening technique. Saturation by -40. Good deal of curves/contrast adjustments.
