Dragan style, Bla Bla style... MY STYLE!

my style... hue/saturation adjustment layer, selective color adjustment layer, dodging, burning, blend mode "difference", etc.
What do you think? Thanks!

looks good, but the skin looks a little fake , plastic-ish. It also looks a tad comic-bookish

JMHO, but no where close. Not dramatic enough, muddy, and flat looking.

Here is what I came up with for this Dragan-esque style. It came across a little darker than I wanted when I flattened image.

Thanks for reply,
I was mostly concerned about skin should look like a stone with marblish glare without using body oils/sprays or special studio lights.

I agree, it came out dark. I'll try to adjust black channel of CMYK copy to get nice shadow contrast and details and re-apply it to RGB version.

Re: Dragan style, Bla Bla style... MY STYLE!

OK Ok, now before I catch flak for this, let me tell you I mean this in the most sincere way, Im joking, this response is in jest. But I couldnt resist. I read this post and thought to myself this exactly. Sometimes things jsut just turn out quite as you may have hoped, but definetley get an e for effort with trying. I often laugh most of the time at the posts up here since many of our attempts fall WAYYYYYY short of what we are trying to emulate.

SO without further adieu.......

Heres my Van gogh attempt, figured it is fitting with the Dragan attempts since the results seem to be similar. Tell me what ya think LOL theres the original and then my version.
