Photo Retouching - - I need shine!

Hey Folks I totally forget how to get a legit looking "shine" on metal jewelry.
Ya know, the 4 point star looking thingy. Please see the attached photo and offer your best techniques for putting a star shine on her earings!

are you talking about a star brush? You can google them.
