Amy dresser/jill greenberg lookalike

Found this really close to Jill Greenbergs crying children picture here http://www.sxc.hu

I've tried to retouch it so it's abit close to the amy dresser retouching! So is this abit close?

I've tried correcting the colours, I didn''t finish the cut out, but wanted to mainly focus on the skin/face retouching!

i think, the skin is too blotchy. and cause it's all about lighting, it's hard to convert a normal lit photography into the jill look. u could work out more highlights or make the present highlights more apparent.
what were your steps?

my steps? hmmm...

Well, I did use d & b,.,adding these highlights in the face...then...well...I'm looking at the psd file now and I see that I have finalized the picture somewhere...then I lost some layers here...aaaargh!

Some steps I know I did,

first:

added background
d&b face
highlights and shadows
burned overall picture

flattend image, adde more contrast
copyed picture
desaturated it
took down opacity to make the colours lighter...

I think you did a good job considering how the original image look. A little to much D&B to look like Jills but very nice.

Re: Amy dresser/jill greenberg lookalike

well, after much thought I have concluded that the highlights were only gradient in white acutally...hehe...I'm trying out to the very "fade in fade out" areas of highlights...can't really seem to handle that very good in D&B,,..
