ok, glad to know....but i'm sure fair use allows you to have it in a portfolio to show prospective clients...

it actually doesn't at all :-(. I have been having a hard time getting rights to use the work I do in my portfolio. I not only need photographers permission, but also the models permission as well, or a copy of the model release form.

Try use this and all problems will be solved, believe me. It is more comfortable to use ASP.net ( especially 2.0) combined with flash and this all driven by data from database ( excel /access/ whatever You want )
That is easy to use, to design
I did simple site of my Photo Team ( www.A2Team.pl ) and there are features for using severla versions ( I would like to have english/german/ spanish )
So as You see, that's easy

well that's a kick in the rear....i checked on google and most of the info regarding fair use involves the written word....they do however mention that the "author" is the owner of the copywrite, the question is whether they consider retouchers to be such an "author" as technically they had a part in producing the work...
