the most of the threads in RP.com forum is these "what type of techniques is used to retouch these pictures"...Well, I like this retouching you have shown on these links here...with these types of closeups I think that the photographer has first chosen a model with great skin texture! planning a shoot is very important to get great results...with right make up and right light and all that is involved BEFORE he shoots is very important! maybe then in photoshop he has used curves, dodge and burn and more color adjustments...

I've wrote this before, but...
to plan a shoot, get a nice model with very nice skin texture, work with makup and the light! then retouch in ps! 90% of the result is done before the shoot IMO!

iam afraid in this case 90% of the result is made by retouch in ps, cause i saw original pic (unfortunatelly dont know where)

the texure of skin seems to be very unrealistic to me !?

can be done with dodge and burn and colouring up

eyelashes look hand drawn in

powder make-up looks added in perhaps?

all it is, is dodge and burning with some nice coloring ..

Could you anybody recommend me some useful tutorial, where its descibed how to reach similar look by these d and b tools? or generally how to use them for skin retouching ? i have no experience with d and b

I have seen a technique that used High-Pass filter to capture the skin texture then blurred the underlying skin and add the texture back on top. My guess from looking at a blowup of theimage is that the texture is done by adding digital noise. I never seen skin pours so evenly distributed. This also gives it that unrealistic look.

As with everything in PS, there are at least 10 different paths to the same end result, it all depends on your experience and comfort zone.
