To all the pro Retouchers here

Hello from germany

My name is calvin and i am new here
I do photography and retouching for 2 years now
In german communitys i am well known but there are 80percent non- professionals.

I hope i can get some contacts or information from some pro retouchers here

What do i have to do to get professional? (School, study....)

How can i find out if i am good enough? (Its difficult to rate my own work)

In 4 years i like to do retouching for living.
I have time.... But i need the words from this kind of people who made it.

Sorry for my bad English

Thanx for reading

Lg Calvin

Re: To all the pro Retouchers here

Hi Calvin,

I'm not a pro because i'm employee, but trust me, you're the best place where you could get. If you do retouch for living, not just one company than you are a pro. You should, because you can get job to do. When you'll have many accomplishments in retouching, more and more, you'll see there are lots of things to learn more and more - what you can do here-, but real matter to become a pro is: TO DO IT.

best regards
saby

@Sabby
Thank you.
In the next three years i am still doing my job as a soldier in the german army.

But i like to prepare me for the change in 3 years.

How can i prepare me?
Of course.... Learn, learn and learn.
But do i have to ask pro photographer to make the post production for them?

I dont really know......

Lg Calvin.

Calvin, i think your website advertising what U know and there'll be prophotographers, who need the proretouchers to work together. I can't imagine why you join to the army, U must or U want but you may get the possibility from there <retouching spyphotos>, who knows.
