just because i critic you doesn't mean i must be able to do it (dave hill stuff) better.
in one of my last posts here, i posted a link to my blog: http://www.mariotheimer.info/blog/
What you all do not seem to GET... IS it is all getting to the same point and I explain this so many times it makes me SICK.
They and Dave Hill are using the Different methods to do the SAME technique.
Lucis (some adjustments, not all) IS the same thing... Just less controllable.
Your a Bonehead if you still do not grasp the concept of Contrast Masking which IS what dave hill is doing as well as Lucis, Mr. Contrast, Topaz adjust etc...
Only Dave is doing it the Precise Controllable way. DUH!
Not using Plug-ins.
He is doing it the more controllable way along side with D&B'ing

Get that through your thick skull.
Morons!

The images are horrid. looks like every element has been masked and worked separately over and over and over to get these over retouched images.

Hey Ich.Mario, can you post the "before" image, out of the camera, of the guy with the stripped shirt? I think this would help people understand better.

Cativo...it will be interesting to see Ich.mario's response. Many like to show their work but very few provide any details.

That's understandable, but I'm not asking for details, that's the proprietary part. A lot of people post their before shots including Obsilla, and even Dave himself, and it still doesn't get you any closer. It does not get you from A to B unless you know what's going on in between. I wouldn't expect it to be problem.
