Hi guys, I have this a quick try at home in my garage.
I'd love to know what you guys think.

I'm posting this because i would love some hints and tips on how to get closer to this look, so be brutally honest

One quick helpful hint would be to get those Kicker lights from the side back behind you more b/c they are making an awful, shadow on your nose...

I agree, get the lighting in order first, as well as the exposure. It makes it a lot easier to dodge and burn later. Skin color looks very red too, especially a part of his biceps.

fotomunki:

the third one isnt quite of well lucis-ized. look at the color tones on her arm. ugly.

second one is far awaytoo much: it's so surexposated that there is no infos left
too much
really

also the highlights on her right arm looks fake

the first one be careful for the skin too

When a strong Lucis effect turns the skin orange, I've had luck with a history brush set to "luminosity" and opacity set at 20% or lower and then brush back just enough of the pre-Lucis luminosity to get rid of the orange.

Woah! I LOVE it!
I do feel with so much contrast in each area of the screen, the person gets lost a bit, aside from that, awesome!

Do you mind sharing your process for this image?
