Complete DH-style does not suit to my photos. I have to keep skin textures realistic and also I cannot lose muscle definition. It is pretty different to shoot bodybuilders, you need right kind of lighting. Not that I could even achieve DH-like retouch.

As you can see from those before after images, light is still very important, but you can make cool adjustments to an image with curves and local contrast. D/B is also a must to master.

Mtmm why didn't you stamp out those guys from background? I am really curious about equipment you use, it's so $#@$% sharp Really nice work.

wojciech if you mean people on that vampire shot. It was funny when they are frozen and watching.

I use Canon 1ds MKII, 24-70/2.8L. Lighting Elinchrom rangers.

Without explanation it's not so funny I was sure that this must be L lens because: 1. it has to cope with back light 2. it's really sharp. I am suprised that 28-70 is so sharp, did you have to close aperture to f4 or is it wide open?
