I already said it: DH sucks at photography, and his skills where bought in some fair. Plain and simple, wanna get the base? Start by apliying the lushit art thing then denoise. Go and post a forum about Calvin Hollywood, that guy really have talent.
Ah, and for before & after thing, DH website has lot of videos.

I agree actually. it is really so easy. throw some lucis and denoise it.
Again Cyspesik or who ever posted the Indiana Jones tutorial hit the nail right on the head.
Follow that tutorial and you'll get it.
Mtmm just plays with Bleach Bypass which makes the highlights even hard whites.
He just copied dave hill with using BodyBuilders, which make things easily awkward enough as they are,and is another One trick in the bag guy.
Funny how he knocks down another photographer who has a endless amount of BIG clients, yet he shoots steroid boys and nothing else.

I guess a reason to use BodyBuilders. You make more attention to their muscles, veins, biceps and triceps and etc..so it works. But when u have deal with smtng beautiful like pretty girl )) you just make her ugly ) Though u can play with her clothes to get that look.

Snook, epic fail. I have been shooting bb:s for 5 years now and I own a big website what relates to that sport. So please cry me a river. Dave dont even know how to shoot bodybuilders and he does not have even one photo to show that sport. So continue crying, its funny.

cypisek, isn't you that posted that Indiana Jones Tutorial that your buddy showed you?
Why are you asking the putts Mtmm for help?
Also your images are fine they are just missing the gritty Lucis art.. Give it more and you'll be there.
Do yourself a favor and copy the exact same thing as the Indiana Jones image on yours and you will have the same as Mtmm.
And tell your model to take some more steroids before the next shoot..:+}

Cypi, I use cmyk only when correcting skin tones for print. You should keep yellow over magenta. You can email me to get more answers, I'm not gonna give any hints to snook. I know she is crying to get some information.

Mtmm is professional, I am only amateur with amateur camera. tutorial for indiana jones is little complicated and destructive for quality:/ I need to find better and simply way to this effect.

this is another test with indiana tutorial(before&after):

after
http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/196...sle800x600.jpg

as you see I am far away from Mtmm technique:/

Don't waste your time with that pea brain Mtmm. Hi copied everything from this thread if you go back threw it you will see.
And basically it is the only "tool" he has.
Like someone mentioned his steroid boys are already interesting and when you put them in comic like scenes they look even stranger/goofier.
Go to your local gym, find the Biggest steroid boy you can, throw him in some Golf shorts and put him on a golf course, having him make idiotic faces, throw some Lucis art on a luminosity layer, smooth that at with some denoise, D&B a little and you will have the same Seen all over the web look Mtmm is doing.
No brainer.
You don't have extra light. then buy 2 5 dollar mirrors and bounce full sun from both side and your set.

Do you see any of his images on a white paper backgroud...NO!
Do you see DH with a plain white paper BG... NO!
Throw your image in a dark night time alley or in a club with dark dim lighting with smoke or something interesting and you will have a better image? Not sure what you are trying to achieve with a white background.??

You got it?
