This is just an overdone demo with extracted photo.
And this is not even close Dave Hill, but with a good lighting you can do some heavy retouch without
damaging the photo with halos and other shit. I still believe, that Dave is going through the whole photo
with d/b and then he does his magic.



Key point still is a good lighting with enough highlites and shadow detail."

Hi all. Wow Thread is still running. Respekt.

After starting this thread many people wrote me emails about my work and my post production.
I dont have the Dave Hill style. And i dont know how Dave Hill work.
I just can explain you my own style or work.
Maybe i have some techniques what Dave Hill also usw. I dont know

I dont have secrets in my work. And i share my techniques in many many ways in germany.
I know that many people dont understand german so i like to start sharing my techniques in english.

Yes Calvin Hollywood awesome job today, I was happy when I got on here only to find out late that you were doing the show, and got in there half way through, not knowing what time it was or anything.. haha.

I created a new thread, IMO to start over, away from all the dave hill hype, to further all our interests in this type of photographic work, and not demystify one person.

Calvin Hoollywood have a great technique with the RAW Process... I have been playing around with that technique and man, it opens lot of new doors
