I think the images shown in the videos are the reults of te day's shooting and are lacking the post processing i.e. half a job. I'dd be staggered if they were the finished article!

I think that is final pictures and there will no more retouching. It does not look good. Look at the third picture. This big shoe, looks like he flew in the air

wow, they really are not up to Dave's normal standard of work. Perhaps he was on a low budget for these shots!

Dave Hill is only a photographer and someone else edited the pictures and that is the reason why they look like. Perhaps they had a low budget this time.

Seems proof that lighting is only part of the equation sucks to be them they would have been better off paying for the full DH effect from DH lol...

They really look cheap. If those works are final, he is honoring the title of this thread !

Yeah I am 100% interested in what happened with the post work on this project so far from the norm I have become to expect from many of his images heck they look like more bad DH knock offs lmao.

Re: The demystification of dave hill! let's all he

It looks like my approach to this technique one year ago (page 71) was almost exactly same as Mr. Randall's - but as I worked with small jpg file I got few artefacts there - if you have a good source file and you work carefully, you do not get them ... And I have chosen same reference image - but I wasn't aware of Mr. Randall's post.
