Nice work obosila, whilst the making of slideshow is really helpful, especially with regards the flash set up, can you shed any light on your post processing or is this simply another show off post?

I've worked with Dave and even had him shoot me once. He's a great photographer but there's no magic formula to his shoots. He's always trying something new and uses whatever lighting is best suited for the shot. As for the retouching, it really does take hours and hours. If people spent half as much time trying to come up with their own technique as they do copying Fiscus/Hill/Greenburg they'd probably have flickr groups dedicated to them.

I totally disagree with that statement, I've spent quite a long time trying to get a look like Dave's, not with the intention of ripping him off, but simply to understand how he uses light and photoshop.

The result of my efforts is that I now have a fairly decent flash set up myself, a good understanding of photoshop and now my own style is starting to evolve. All this as a result of me "copying Hill"

Very cool still working to understand this one bugs me that I can't see it yet just have to keep working at it. Seems to start with very hard rim lighting getting the most contrast that can be generated then post processing with the secret formula lol. Maybe someday.....
