Adding a silver/metalic look on picture's

G,Day evreyone,

I,Few weeks ago, I,have seen a great photo on Photo.net.com.
I,whas really astonished how the Master that effect has reached, he added I,kind of silverglow over his black and white images.
Now, I.hope there is someone that want my to help that effect to reached.
I,have tried a lot of things in photoshop, but i,didn't reach the effect where i,am looking for.

With a lot of thanks in advance.

Thanks for the tip about that Plugin, but when a saw the screenshot from that link, I sudden remeber that i'get that plugin.
I really forget it , i bit stupid from my.
But i gone try it, maybe i,am getting the result where i,am looking for.

This might help...instead of making the entire image gold you can make it silver and just lower the opacity and erase what you dont want high lighted with silver. It may also be the makeup they have on that gives off that silvery metalic vibe.

Thanks for your link .

I think its a great tutorial, but there will be one problem, that is that it is a gold look, that he ad reaches in the Hue/satu dialogbox.
Do you now the numbers for adding a silvercolor with the Hue/satu box.

Sorry, but you mean that i have to take that settings (the gold look) and than Ctrl J and the copyed layer desaturating.

make a hue/desat layer above all, and desat fully.

underneath that, make some curve layers and play with the contrast, experiment, get crazy with it.....you'll eventually get what you're looking for.

than if you want to add a cool color cast or a warm cast to the silver, do so above the hue/sat layer.
