Unfortunately for legal copyright reasons, site owner/admin's policy is "no celeb" pics. Since you linked and did not upload, you're probably OK on this one. |

| | | Re: Face, eyes, lashes retouch Too polished for my tastes, any character her face may have had has been removed, leaving a lifeless plastic doll.
If this is what you were aiming for you've succeeded. |

Well I googled sites that sold false eyelashes & had images of the lashes against white backgrounds. I just turned them into brushes & then used the brush to put them over her eyes. Its really simple. |

| | Re: Face, eyes, lashes retouch Hi;
I think you did a super retouch.
Your idea of grabing eye lashes from a catalog is creative to say the least..

Gerry | Well if you take any image and gray scale it (make it black and white)
In photoshop you can turn it into a brush by going to EDIT/Save Brush
This is the site i got lashes from http://www.mydivascloset.com/fakeeyelashes.html |

| | | Re: Face, eyes, lashes retouch You just blurred her face and you gave her a pair of eyelashes. Nothing special. Beside that, on web format even my grandma can retouch a picture. It's all about details. |

| | | Re: Face, eyes, lashes retouch a little too overdone! Unless someone specifically asked me to remove all texture from the skin, I wouldn't do it. I like to clean up the skin, but at the same time, try to keep the texture so it looks natural...like a real person. |

| | | Re: Face, eyes, lashes retouch Miss Odessa, good work! However, the eye lashes seem a little too good to be true for me. I looked at your retouched photograph first, and I could immediately tell that they were 'photoshopped' in. Ashley's however seem a little more realistic, and less obvious. I also really enjoyed the slight brown upgrade to the hair that you did Ashley. Nice work to you both! |

| | | Re: Face, eyes, lashes retouch I agreed with some opinions that your retouch is a little overdone. Look at the ashleybreeanne's retouch to see the difference. Yes, your retouch is more attractive, but I think that ashleybreeanne's one is more natural, not so plastic (better).
You should use less blurring and a bit more healing brush.
Ofcourse the style of retouches depends from what photographer/retoucher want to achieve.
