i really love how they airbursh their photos, and now there offering to teach people how they do it. BUT i live in australia so i cant really go, just wondering if anyone knew exactly what they do to their photos? and i think Indrani the airbrusher that works with Markus Klinko worked for them at one stage..i think. Their photos are amazing! check them out

their photos almost look cartoonish, i love it =] , i was thinking they maybe use the Median tool in PS. but any help would be great guys =]

Indrani is the retoucher and Markus takes the photos although she does have a team of post-processors with her. Id love to know how they do it, it must be to do with the lighting then photoshop =]

I've come across these guys when looking for retouching classes in London - of which there are none of worth.

The best retouchers here tend have grown up doing it in the 80's, even on Quantel and FIRE. I was talking to a Legen yesterday.

Well, looking at this site, i'd say, again, it starts with:
Expensive Make Up and a great Make Up Artist and great lighting.
You cannot get by without it but everyone's so keen to get into photoshop, the basics get forgotten.

You may be able to polish a turd in Photoshop but that's a stink job.

Exactly. You can make 'good' photography into 'great' and maybe 'decent' into 'good' but you can't retouch bad photos into great ones.

Then again, a lot of digital makeup can be applied but that's an extremely expensive way of doing things in a studio!

I tend to "Front Load" everything : in music and photography try to get the best result in front of the camera or microphone. This is where a background in shooting film (or even JPGS) is essential. Basic skills and actually this week i'm in the position of Shooting to immediately deliver 4-600 photos per night so it's really stretching my metering and lighting skills. Great, stressful fun.
