Re: First D&B Retouch - Ant/Everyone Crits Please

the burn is ok, but the details is buggin' me a bit here...the space between the left arm and the torso has a light area while the background is wall bricks and dark spaces...then her hair on the top is wild...the burning isn't very good there either, when you zoom in you see areas where the burning has gone outside the hair...then in the black space on the left of the left arm is a small circle tha is completely white...

her facial features is nice, but the jawline is big, would shrink that to get more female feature...the angle of the picture isn't doing her face any favours here...trust me, when looking on some supermodels around the world they have angles that doesn't do anything for them as well...after that everything looks ok...

Overall, for your first D/B attempt, I think it's a right first step. Obviously you need practice, but we all started somewhere.

I didn't have time to read your novel, so excuse this if it's covered already.

Re: First D&B Retouch - Ant/Everyone Crits Please

nice job on the second picture...as to the area between her left arm and torso I would just go for black instead...since the arc there is black on the other sides it's gives mroe harmony to the picture...
