| Re: A Short Essay On Being A Jewelry Photographer and Retoucher No retouch there, just a really sharp hook and a painful afternoon, the hook was high tensile steel so couldn't be cut, and what better excuse to get the power tools out. One little touch though with the cutting wheel and the hook would instantly heat up and burn into my finger, probably the most painful part of the operation, but I think it helped to disinfect/seal the wound as I had no troubles with it healing up.
Maybe as jewelry photographers we should be charging danger pay as well? |
