Re: Recent Retouch

I love your retouched version, especially the work you did on the jacket! Overall i think you did a real good job. If i could change anything, i think the face needs some seperation to the fur on her jacket, they both blend in with eachother colour wise. Also you could maybe add a more cold atmosphere.

Great job though

Looks like your instincts are in the right direction, but a larger image would be a lot more effective.

Re: Recent Retouch

Wow! Beautiful!!

Sorry, no constructive criticism to offer - maybe if you uploaded a larger image, I could seek out flaws.

Re: Recent Retouch

I like the overall mood. Not sure if this were your intent. One thing that I find most distracting is that the blending between the rectangular original and the new square format. There are still some very sharp edges and also some smudged edges, which suggest some blending attempts were made. A good way to even this out is to use an adj. N curve.

My bad, Just checked on a different computer. It looked different on my display. I got sloppy towards the end haha It should be corrected if you check again.

It takes along time, alot of dodge and burn on multiple layers, over and over and all the usual. Just experiment yourself

Another example Retouch Before/After
