| | | Full Body Studio Retouch (Original PIc Inside) Hey Everyone!
I had so much fun doing this! I LOVE retouching, ive only just started takeing it seriously as a possible career move.
Please let me know what you think of this image. Usually i HATE changing facial features, as i think they shouldnt be touched, but i saw this as more "correcting" them.
Please leave your crits, and here is the original image so you can have a shot at it http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/829/imgp38512wr1.jpg
Enjoy! And please let me know whats wrong and right lol thanks |

| | | Re: Full Body Studio Retouch (Original PIc Inside) nice work, the facial features is more up front now and she looks more model-ish...but as I noticed on the befor and after image her right arm is missing, but to me it looks like her arm has been cut away due to how the "shoulder clothing" sticks out...maybe something to address?
cheers

| | | Re: Full Body Studio Retouch (Original PIc Inside) Thanks for the crits guys. I think i will go back to this image and see if there is anything i can do about the left arm, it looks very odd.
I will be working on a video tutorial soon, would like to do one! |

| | | Re: Full Body Studio Retouch (Original PIc Inside) Thats not bad if you just started. You seen most things - but what about her stomach area - maybe brush in a little tone on her upper stomach to flatten a little? Most people might also brief to take the depth of the shaded area on her left cheek up a little, but Im not sure. A little more L&D on her knuckles maybe. |

Your work looks impressive and it looks like you may have a promising career!
I thought I would tackle the "Arm" problem.. then figured why not smooth the face some.. then noticed her sides, the clothing, then the hand and wrist and before I knew it, I had this image..
This version of your picture is from a very novice OlBaldGuy with NO work flow, other than trial and error, and just playing on his "Puter" for the fun of it! |

| | | Re: Full Body Studio Retouch (Original PIc Inside) Here's my attempt. The pose is quite awkward. Kind of a twisted look. I took a little more weight off and tried to add the "missing" right arm plus a lot of little fixes. Also reduced the red colorcast.

| | | Re: Full Body Studio Retouch (Original PIc Inside) OLBaldy - Thanks for the kind words, i really like your version allot! you did a good job on the arm - great work buddy!
Duwayne - Again good job, although she looks a bit washed out for my taste. Again i like the arm job!
It seems even with the arm added in it still looks some what awkward...hmmm |
