Make this flower beautiful - again

This Dahlia is starting to show a bit of wear and tear. Can you make it beautiful again?

This is my try. This is just a simple retouch. No attempt to use any art filters.

Re: Make this flower beautiful - again

I don't know if I have made it beautiful again, but I have used the image to practice, and maybe in the process managed to cobble together something that is not worse than the original.

Replaced worn out, over pollinated center of flower and the green bug with a cut from another dahlia. Replaced most of the yellow pollen near the center with petal color. Patched holes. Surface blurred background and slightly darkened and desaturated the background as well.

Since I am relatively inexperienced at this, and lacking in formal training, I appreciate feedback.

Re: Make this flower beautiful - again

Here is my version. The hardest part was fixing that bit of upturned petal.
