Help remove my double chin?

Can someone please remove my double chin in this picture? I have Paint Shop Pro but I'm not that good with it... I tried a few things but it didn't work. If someone could do it for me but also list the steps they did so I'll know for future reference. Thanks so much to anyone who can help me out.

Re: Help remove my double chin?

Just a quick pass with the liquidify filter in Photoshop CS, adjusted color balance and sharpened. Cropped to eliminate some background clutter.

Re: Help remove my double chin?

Used the Clone Stamp (PSE5), cloning the area directly under the chin. Painted some (normal mode, 8% opacity) to smoothen the skin. Adjusted the hue. Sharpened some.

Cropped; darkened BG with the channel mixer & monochrome; used Dodge to lighten under her chin line and Burn to darken and re-define the line; Chip Springer's Paint-with-Light action at(http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm) to blend the skin tones; softened the skin a bit; curves for contrast; sharpened.

Re: Help remove my double chin?

Hi, here is my attempt:
first, clone stamp to remove misplaced hair,
second, clone stamp, healing and smudge to correct chin's shadow (by little touch),
repair that poor histogram and sharpening a bit.
My goal: be as natural as possible
Hope you'll like, CB

And someone post a link on how they ended up doing (what values you chose and some screenies would be great!)!

Re: Help remove my double chin?

Awesome thanks so much.

I have another pic if you don't mind. here with my hero Kevin Trudeau

Unfortunately the guy who took it made it too dark and I have a double chin.

Any chance you could brighten it and remove the double chin again? I appreciate this soooo much !!

Re: Help remove my double chin?

You're welcome :-).

On this one a channel mixer on "Screen" mode was used. 50% of the green and blue channel were replaced by 50% red. Curves on "Color" mode did the rest fixing the ugly red cast.
Again, simple dodge & burn eliminated the double chin.

But please, don't expect me to correct any image for you.
Grab yourself GIMP or similar and try on your own :-). Lots faster and much more fun.

Re: Help remove my double chin?

Try this: http://www.gimp.org/

Have fun with it and if you have any questions, I'm pretty sure, there are some very experienced GIMP users around here :-).

Re: Help remove my double chin?

You can ask me questions any time you want, but I'm not a GIMP user ;-)
I use Photoshop (which is pretty expensive, that's why I suggested you to use the free GIMP), so I might not be the best help you can get.

Re: Help remove my double chin?

Just a Reminder to all those wanting free retouching...

FAQ: Will you do my restoration/retouch/repair for me?

No. This is a site for learning, and we will gladly help you learn to do it yourself. We have a "Image Help" forum just for that purpose. Click on "Forums" on the navbar to get there. There is also a "Classifieds" forum if you're willing to pay one of our members to work on your photo.

Can someone please help remove my double chin?

Hi

Could someone please help remove my double chin on this pic? Also the spot on my boyfriends cheek?

I would appreciate this very much!

If you could also please give me a step by step breakdown of how it was done that would be great!

I have been trying on GIMP for a while now, but I just can't get ot right! :-(
