| Green Screen Compositing Techniques One thing I have noticed over the past several months, are the numerous ways people work with green screen (Chroma key) compositing; channels, color select, 3rd party software, by hand etc. What I though might be fun, is for everyone who is interested to grab the same hi-res green screen image (400 PPI, TIFF, 4.6 megs) and create some sort of composite (Your choice, get crazy creative) and share with us what green screen technique you used. I bet we could all learn a thing or two. Below is a link and preview of a green screen we shot at our studio. This was shot using a chroma key cloth backdrop (Before we switched to foam walls) and the cloth had ripples, but these shouldn't hinder you in working with the image. I have created tons of composites from these 'Ripply' photos. Hopefully we can get some great participation with this...this could really be informative. Hi-res Image Download Thanks guys, Damien http://www.digitalsistere.com |

| Re: Green Screen Compositing Techniques Never used 3rd party software. Made a mask from the a channel in lab. Blended the edges with color and multiply layers. http://edgework.tripod.com/samples/moongirl.jpg |
