Re: red eye

Most decent editing programs have a built in red eye removal function. Photoshop and Photoshop Elements does as well as iPhoto (if you're on a Mac).

Re: red eye

It's true must programs have a red eye removal function, but I find that they don't work as well as selecting and performing the removal manually. The method that I use, is to select the red area, then switch to the blue or green channel, whichever is darker, and then select copy. Next switch to the red channel and select paste. This is fast and provides a very good result, although I tried the method above, and it work very well too.
