Re: would you mess with this

Hello

That's a sweet shot. The people in the background are a bit distracting
I think it could use a small adjustment..

Cropping (and correction of the angle, it was slightly off) gives more focus to the little girls, also a Gaussian blur for the background to get rid of the folks in the back... then you can bring back some of the detail in the trees so they are not so flat.

attached the file so you could see what I mean.

I did it really quickly so it isn't perfect, but I hope it helps ya out.

Re: would you mess with this

I did even a tighter crop. Increased the size and resolution to 8X10 @150 ppi and ran NeatImage noise filter. Then applied a Gradient blur on the background. I used Unsharp Mask with a high radius, low amount (A=20, R=100, T=5) to boost the highlights and shadows of the girls. Minor tweeking with levels. Unsharp Mask (A=100, R=1.8, T=3) to sharpen. Still need more work to remove the black spots on the hair.

Re: would you mess with this

Here's my try. I cropped using the rule of thirds, I left in the ball and the basket cuz I think it tells a story about the day. Adjusted the contrast and warmed it up a bit. I used neat image too.
