Great Photoshop Compositing Videos - Video2Brain

Hey folks,

Look, I know that posting product reviews can be a touchy subject on forums...so I flagged this thread as POT (Possibly Off Topic). But, a recent thread asked about another set off retouching vids...so I figured it would be OK.

There is a DVD from Video2Brain on Photoshop Compositing & Retouching, that has entire work flows to 5 incredible composites (I am attaching sample images). And you can't beat the amount of info for the price (Also comes with all stock photos used)

39,95 Euros or $57 US.

Only issue for some will be...it's in German. Now, I don't speak a word of German but because the work flows are there in their entirety you can just watch the video and comprehend whats going on and it only takes a few minutes to get the jist of the navigation menus.

And, just for the few overly paranoid...I am not an affiliate, do not receive any kickback in dollars or Euros. In fact, I had to use Systran language translation software just the read the site.

So if your interested...here's the link

It's great material.

Warmest,
Damien

Perfectly OK as far as I'm concerned, hence I removed the "POT" prefix and fine tuned the wording of the title to make it look a little more inviting.

Are the example images ones you did or from Video2Brain marketing information?

Appreciate the heads up.

Hey Danny,

The example images are three of five finished composites taught on the V2B DVD. I don't even know if those images are shown on the site...I grabbed them out of the materials folder on the DVD in order to show the quality of the finished work.

Sorry about the prefix also; I wanted to somehow flag the thread as not being an ask/answer thread. I am watching the V2B DVD again for the bazillion'th time...even though I am so tied my eyes feel like I have sand under the lids. But I love watching this guy take a group of, what most would consider crappy photos, and retouching and composting them in to really fantastic comps. There is a workflow on the DVD turning New York into a flooded, end of the world, type image that is so inspiring. Whoever this guy teaching on the DVD is, has some wicked chops.

The DVD is great.... you can see exactly how he do that kind of stuff... if you already have photoshop skills its no problem to follow without speaking german.

This DVD is pure Inspiration for Composings and Uli Staiger is one of the best Photoshop Artists in Germany

http://www.video2brain.com/products-128.htm

First you have to put it in your case.... "in den Warenkorb legen"
Then you have to go to the bill site
"zur Kasse gehen"

Then you have to set your Name, Country and and and.... but i dont know if they ship overseas.

But i can ask there.... i did a Video DVD with Video2Brain too. My DVD Release is February08.
