| Re: Ammateur -vs- Pro Glamour challenge!!! Rax, do you have a higher quality-image? I believe some of the members would be in game, but the picture is so blurred, wonder if any effort is worth trying...:-( Though the modell is nice :-) |

| Re: Ammateur -vs- Pro Glamour challenge!!! I think your rendition looks great give the flaws in the original. You turned it into a work of art. |

| Re: Ammateur -vs- Pro Glamour challenge!!! RAX: it's a bad quality picture to start retouching from...To me it's more over in the restoring department then retouching maybe...BUT, to your work the result is much better then original! the cutout could be better...Her hip/stomach are is still showing pieces of white, the inside on the left leg is showing shadow from original!...Her hair on top has a small bump that I think could be taken away to get that hair "even steven"...the hair has some spaces that can be filled up! hope this helps |

| Re: Amateur -vs- Pro Glamour challenge!!! Accidents happen! I did nothing but remove the white specks and cropped. I'm no artist but I really like it as is. Don't try to retouch - enjoy what you have. There are many very talented photo artist of the site. There's more possibilities in this direction than retouching. | Re: Amateur -vs- Pro Glamour challenge!!! Hi duwayne and 0lBaldy I appreciate your efforts greatly although the pic owner hasnt taken it well that her pic is on an image retouching forum. Please can you remove the thumbnail attachements that you have in the post which would be very much appreciated. Thanks Rax |

| Re: Amateur -vs- Pro Glamour challenge!!! Rax... Removed the thumbnail and attached file. Still, I curious about the image. Is the image straight from the camera or was some post-processing done. It looks like some sort of artistic rendering. I would really like to duplicate the look in protoshop. It looks like the original was taken with a film camera or polaroid and scanned using a low-end document scanner. I say this because of the dust and scratched on the picture. | Re: Amateur -vs- Pro Glamour challenge!!! Hi Duwayne It was actually just scanned in from a photograph (which wasnt that high quality) on a HP Photosmart 2610 all in one..... so no effects were used at all to make it look grainy... I really miss my BlackWidow scanner... I dont think anything else beats it... the detail comes out perfect and you really notice the difference.. Have you experienced any excellent scanners? Rax |

| Re: Amateur -vs- Pro Glamour challenge!!! I have an Epson 4990 scanner I use for prints and film. It uses Kodak's Digital ICE for removing dust, scratches and fingerprints from film positives and netgaives. Works great! It has a dynamic range of 4.0 so gets most details in shadows and highlights. |
