Photo Retouching - - Photoshop Battle Fun

Hi Everyone!

I wasn't quite sure where to put this post, so I figured the most suitable category was this one. Some of you may know MikeW and myself (Dave), and we have a fun Photoshop Tennis match going on next door. We're onto a second round of retouching right now (retouching in a non-traditional sense), but the first round was a real test of photoshopping skills and creative thinking (not to mention testing my sense of humour).

The challenge was to add one element (or photoshop in/out) an element to an image, playing back and forth while retaining the original image.

Anyhow, all that being said, I thought it would be entertaining for some, and raise "how did you..." questions for others, which I would be happy to answer here

Thank you Palms1! It's a lot of fun, and I have to say, very challenging.

Just curious how you found the actions in the other thread (if you remember!). Was it through surfing, or search engines? I heard somebody mention they found me on stumbleupon.com but I never registered the site there.

Anyhow, keep an eye on the battle, it's sure to become an interesting one. Mike is a very talented challenger! Did you see the previous battle?

I had heard of your site before and have had a nosey around in the past, but i think i saw a reference to a action there so i went and had a nosey at what there was and found it that way ( i surf around nosing quite often

Love the concept (and the current contest)

, wish I had time to indulge, but at the moment I'm really stretched to fit any retouching in at all.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the kind comments and for checking it out! I was really busy which is why it took me so long to post the last image. Usually we are able to do a posting or two each per day, but it's been a little hectic the past few weeks. Stay tuned and keep checkin it out.. I'll post updates here too! Some of these challengers have an awesome sense of humour haha!
