Question about posting an image

Hi all,
This is my first post and of course it's a question. I've been messing around with Photoshop for a while and I would really appreciate any and all advice. My questions is...how should I adjust my image size yet not make it so small that you all can't see what I have done. Most of my images are really, really large files. I'm sure this is a really basic question but I do want to post and I want to do it correctly. Hope this makes sense.
Thanks!

Ooops, just found a post on resizing. I'll give it a whirl.

Pen, since you successfully uploaded images to another thread, I'd say that you have figured it out. Welcome to RetouchPro!
