| | | Re: Bride Photo Challenge To be honest, I'd hope I had a way better shot than that ;-)
But, within the limitations of a lowres file, I'd probably do something like this. |

| | | Re: Bride Photo Challenge Here is my effort. I just can't seem do teeth at this point. Would sure like to know how though! Anyway, I had fun doing at least this much.
Ohh...now I see where the teeth came from. I had copied the original retouch. No wonder. Think I'll give it another go.

| | | Re: Bride Photo Challenge I didn't know what you meant by "the bride needs a little help?" I think the bride looks great but I think the photographer could use some help. The image is in very bad shape. I increased the resolution from 72 ppi to 150 ppi (maintaining the original dimensions), used the clone and healing tools to remove major defects and ran the results through Neat Image. It did a pretty good job of cleaning the noise and jpeg artifacts.
Back in Photoshop, I removed the shadows cast on the background. Most are obvious but don't overlook the inside of her left arm, the right side of her neck and the lower right side of her dress.
Whitened teeth and enhanced her lips. Used curves to set white balance and contrast. I think I'll take a shot at replacing the background if I have the time. |

| | | Re: Bride Photo Challenge My workflow was something like this:
turned the head a bit (just personal taste...)
used soft healing brush on the face
adjusted curves on the face
desaturated arms
adjusted levels overall
resized it |
