If you're talking about my pic, thanks, but that's all I did. The rest is juggling the various adjustments until it looks "right". The advantage of using a white layer with a mask is that you have very fine control over both overall and spot saturation. I didn't add any colours or use anything like the replace colour functions in PS or any special plugins as I wanted to do something that others could duplicate.

to be honest i think these profiles have very little to do with the "schmidt look" most of his shots don't even use that "bleached" look, there is something else going on in his shots.

Re: How to: "Christian Schmidt" Look

Hey guys, interesting thread. I wanted to ask though- where can I get the AIM color space profile? I don't have it myself in photoshop and I'm not in a position to get it from my install cd either (I live abroad from home). I went to the aim-dtp website and it looks like it has been gone for a long time. My colleagues version of photoshop doesn't include it either- so where do you think I could find it? Thanks!
