D&B Brush option: opacity vs. flow. What setting ?

When performing D&B in skin retouching, What are the best brush option setting ?

Low Opacity, I agree. What about Flow ? Can you explain what the difference between a 5% flow and a 100% ???

In brush option, can you explain what is the airbrush capabilities ? (the option is on the right of FLOW)

Thank you,

BigBlaze

Re: D&B Brush option: opacity vs. flow. What setti

I use flow on 2 to 4% when doing dodge and burn with curves

When using dodge and burn on a 50% softlight layer I use the actual dodge and burn tools on that layer also flow on about 4%

Test out your settings

- Fill with black then paint on white, first do big brush strokes with opacity then try flow. Flow has a better way of building up the colour.

- Airbrush, again test this out. If you hold down your brush it will spread out almost like a spray can or actual "airbrush"
