Kodak DIGITAL GEM skin smothing plug in

My 1st post here. I really like how the plug in works but it but very expensive for one filter. Been looking for a better solution, I do a lot facial retouching but I hate going through a bunch of steps. Anything else out there that works easy like the digital gem filter and less expensive. Thanks in advance. I have the Ron Nichols Retouch palete but doesnt work on my vista machine.

Maybe I'm just a bitter old fart but my experience has been that it's far, far better to learn how to do it by hand and get the look you want. The plugins I have tried (including digital gem) create a fake look that's too plastic for my taste.
