Just thought i'd post a link to the new video on www.lynda.com ...haven't watched it yet but the desc. info looks like its worth a watch at the least. I'll comment later on the whole movie once I watch it (10.5 hrs).

So far it's really, really good in my opinion. I'm on the Cleaning up Images in Photoshop section... I learned a lot from the color correction section.

Still learning!

This training series looks very promising. What I would really like to see is a DETAILED tutorial on photo restoration. I have seen some excellent results, but not enough was posted for me to try the task and duplicate the results. The one book that I have is by CTEIN from Foacl Press titled DIGITAL RESTORATION FROM START TO FINISH. While he does provide practice images, it is still difficult. To have this as a video tutorial series would be great. It might be an intereresting project if a video tutorial with printed text could be made of some of the work on this site.
