Katrin's site http://www.katrineismann.com/ , then on the bottom row click on http://www.digitalretouch.org/ and then on the left look for Third Edition Photoshop CS2 and click on the sample chapter. At the bottom of that page should be a link to a pdf version.

i see nothing wrong with the links provided. i also see that rgotlieb has edited his original post, ostensibly due to complaints. i would caution about actually posting that .pdf here; it might be a case where that site has permission but others do not. then again, it might not, but i'd like to see some permissions noted on things like this e.g. "this attachment is copyright by suchandsuch and i've obtained permission to post it here" or whatever would be appropriate if such material is going to raise eyebrows.

The pdf might be posted there, and indeed it might be freely available to the readers of her book for use with her lessons etc.

But it is available to those who have PAID for her book and not freely dispersed throughout webdom.
Katrin is a good friend of mine and loves nothing more than sharing and teaching Photoshop information but I am sure she would appreciate being asked to either posting the pdf OR providing a link to a site that is supposed to be for people who paid for her book.

If this permission has been given (and it is easy enough to ask her) then great. If not any access to the information should really be taken off and made unavailable.

Doug knows Katrin also and I am sure that he either knows about this post and has been ok with it, or he doesn't know about it and would be willing to check out the validity of it if made aware.
