Retouch challenge - Photoshop these pix for me

Based on poster's reply to questions in post #2, I moved his thread to this forum. - djr

-----

Hello everyone,

My name is John and I'm graduating this year.

My cousin is throwing me this huge (very elegant) graduation party. This party has been in works for months. The other week I finally got the chance to take my photos for the invitations and for the party its self. I have been looking around for 2 weeks trying to find someone who is willing to touch up my photos.

The following things need to be done to the pictures if possible.
1.Turn them into Black & White and leave them color
2. Acne touch up on all pictures
3. In some pictures I have my lazy eye shown so I would like that touched up if possible.
4. In the black and white picture I need some touch ups (for example, my vest looks loose on me, and I was wondering if it was possible if not don't worry to make it look tighter.
Also--if I can have the pictures photoshopped in color as well.

Thank you for taking the time.

Re: Photoshop Pro Please :)

Hi John...

Welcome. Hope I can help. Need some additional info.

This forum is where people usually seek or advertise "professional services."

1. Are you willing to 'pay' for the work you described?

...or are you offering this opportunity to anyone to work on regardless of skill level?

2. re: "Turn them into Black & White and leave them color"
"Also--if I can have the pictures photoshopped in color as well."

I don't understand these requirements. Please explain with more detail.

3. Do you have hi-res versions of these images. If so, the final results will look better.

4. By when (deadline date) do you need the work completed?

- - - - -

There are no "wrong answers" to the above. Hope my reply gets the ball rolling.

2. re: "Turn them into Black & White and leave them color"
"Also--if I can have the pictures photoshopped in color as well." I'm sorry my typo there, I would like all pictures turn to black and white and also have a set left in color

I don't understand these requirements. Please explain with more detail.

3. Do you have hi-res versions of these images. If so, the final results will look better. What I uploaded onto photobucket is straight from the camera.

4. By when (deadline date) do you need the work completed? Within the next few days.

John...

Thanks for the info/clarification.

I moved and retitled your thread so it would "attract more eyes" and hopefully more responses.

Re: Retouch challenge - Photoshop these pix for me

John...

Based on the fairly small length/width of the originals and low resolution, the print quality is probably not going to be great, especially if you are hoping to enlarge them much beyond their existing sizes.

One possibility is to consider "artistic" interpretations (see example attached), which can get by with lower resolution than photos.

1. Take a look at this one... would you be willing to go this route on some of these or do you want to stay with "photographic"?

2. Also... when printed, what length/width (in inches) will you need for a given image?

Re: Retouch challenge - Photoshop these pix for me

I would like to stay with the photographic. I can email you the pictures directly from the camera to your email.
