What is the best way to find skin imperfection wh?

Using a dark curve? High contrast curve? Desaturate the image? B&W adjustement layer set to high contrast blue filter?

First hue&sat layer to desaturate and a steep curve after that. I'm usually tweaking the curve depending on what tones I'm working on.
