WTF?

1) CF008276.TIF is a 21,3MB Tiff file that's 153x208 pixels...
How do you propose to retouch an image that size?

2) RapidShare sucks bigtime!
Use FREE Large File Transfer services that are 10 times faster!

For your convenience here's an updated list of 16 Large File Transfer services for when you need to send someone (or a bunch of people) a number of high-resolution/HD image or video files = BIG files. I use some of these services every day:

• WeTransfer.com is FREE for up to 2GB of files or (zipped) folders per transfer.
http://www.wetransfer.com//

• DropSend.com is FREE for up to 2GB of files or (zipped) folders per transfer.
http://www.dropsend.com/

• SizableSend.com is FREE for up to 2.5GB of files or (zipped) folders per transfer.
http://www.sizablesend.com/

• Yousendit.com is FREE upto 1GB/month with max 100MB per transfer.
http://www.yousendit.com/

• Pando.com is FREE upto 1GB of files or folders per transfer.
http://www.pando.com/

• Sendspace.com is FREE upto 300MB per transfer.
http://www.sendspace.com/

• Youconvertit.com is FREE for files (not folders, so zip those) upto 1GB per transfer.

• FileApartment.com is FREE for files (not folders, so zip those) upto 1GB per transfer.
http://www.fileapartment.com

• Streamfile.com is NOT free and allows files up to 30GB to be transferred.
http://www.streamfile.com/

• iSendr.com is a FREE and REALTIME direct – computer to computer – (large) file transfer service without a middleman (server).
http://www.isendr.com/

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

To make your large files available to forum members simply use one of the above LFT services to send the file(s) to your own email address. Then open that email message, copy the link that's in it, and post that link here in your post.

Those links tend to be very large (100 characters plus), so you may want to shorten them with e.g. TinyURL.com.

Good luck!

W Smith, the image is actually 4865 x 6520 pixels. Logic wopuld tell you that if the image were worst case in CMYK and 16 bit, the maximum size possible would be 153 x 208 x 2 byte/channel x 4 channels = 205KB. So unless the image has about 100 layers, I think you were looking at the size of the thumbnail.
I would definitely agree with you about Rapidshare. Of course it is deliberately slowed down and delayed in order to get people to subscribe to a paid service. The irritating thing is that it is overly throttled back even at off peak times when they have tons of excess bandwidth. I don't mind paying for file hosting / sharing services especially since large servers, maintenance, and high bandwidth do cost the providers a considerable amount of money but I don't like how Rapidshare implements its business model.
Thanks for the other links to similar service providers.
Regards, Murray

Yep, that's what came down from Rapidshare! And identified itself to my Finder as a 21,3MB Tiff file. Of which apparently the thumbnail came down, but the file itself did not.
You may want to test downloading it for yourself to see what you get.

Why don't you zip all of those images together and send that file with WeTransfer.com to your own email address, from which you can post the link here, and be done with it? All in one go!

Well the file that I downloaded was the full 21.3MB and since it is a direct file link I do not see how you could have rec'd anything else. The file does open and the dimensions are indeed 4865 x 6520.

I downloaded it again, and this time it worked. Got the full size image now. The only noticeable difference was the download was 10 times faster than the first time (without the full size image)...
Cheers.
