Look and feel of carlos serrao

Hey guys,

last time you helped me a lot and gave me a some cool advices, so I just want to ask you another thing.

One of my absolute favorite photographers is carlos serrao. www.carlosserrao.com

most of his images are not that exciting when it comes to the motive, but the light and especially the colors of the images are just incredible beautiful.

there is often a little color shift, that makes the skin looks more yellow / gold and i think he is also turning on the blacks and blues in the image but i not able to figure out what it is that he does in the post production to get this special color shift.

maybe anyone of you has an idea?

thanks

On the image you want, duplicate the layer (assuming its a flatten image) then make the top layer a sepia.
Then, try different blending options (hard lights, overlays, etc) on different percentages. This shall give you a rough feel of it.
