Photo for sharing!

Hi,
I see that some of the pic that are shared in here, are somewhat "studio" photos. And i see some amazing result. That made me wounder abit how a "normal snapshop" could look like. So i asked my girlfriend if i could take a snapshot og her and see what result we could get in here..

I just told her to loose all makeup, used a tiled background, with some difficult shadows, flyaway hairs....and so on...i desided to use only one blitz, to make it more of an snapshot-feeling...

I saved it as a 50% quality jpeg....just to make sure

..so here it/she is

Re: Photo for sharing!

Hello, difficult to transforming this picture in studio style picture.

So I concentrated more on the skin, more properly in the color of the skin. I walk middle paranoid with the skin colors. I walk behind that bronze color, but it is difficult of find it. In this photo, i try to find, but I think didn't get.

Tell me your opinion.

Just did the very basics.. I will let others apply makeup, eyelashes, etc..

Besides, I think she is a natural beauty and sometimes less is more!

Re: Photo for sharing!

90% of the pictures that people want to have retouched are in fact snapshots...Thanks to everyone who share their studio pictures...

Re: Photo for sharing!

Something that i think all retouchers need to learn is how to put makeup on people in real life. If you can do that, then it gets much easier in photoshop. Steve the makeup is way over kill. tone it down use more natural shades in earthtones.

Re: Photo for sharing!

Thanks for the play, _Steve_. Disclaimer: I'm a rank (in every sense of the word) amateur when it comes to retouching, but I love messing with snapshots. Tried to do this the way the big boys do, though not as thoroughly. There's not a blur in sight! Unless you count the backdrop shot . . .
