High key attempt and need help...

Interesting topic, here's my shot...
  • Made a greyscale image from the Red channel (looks more high-key like );
  • Levels on that to make a nice high-key image;
  • Copied and ran my Local Equalization plug-in (or use Medhi's );
  • Used levels on the original to turn the blue sheets to grey;
  • Mixed in the two greyscales as Luminosity;
  • Masked out the skin from the Equalization layer to keep it smooth;
  • Levels to taste.

1 assign profile AIM trinitron or else gamma=1
2 convert to profile adobe rgb
3 assign profile AIM trinitron or else gamma=1
4 convert to profile adobe rgb
5 adjustment layer: gradient map: blending mode linear burn: blend if gray: not white (soft transition): masked
6 softlight layer (filled50%black)
7 painted black on it (wit 15%brush op)where U want more shade
