Desaturated/Metallic Look?

What Would You Do To Achieve This Look Fast...

Whether the model is oiled up or not?

All I Can Think Of.. Is Desaturation...and some type of contrast/high pass booster?

Re: Desaturated/Metallic Look?

If your looking for fast you could always duplicate one layer, either desaturate/B&W. Layer it over the color image and lower the opacity. Takes about 1 minute.
That would be one super easy way.

Check out this tutorial for the shiny skin look:

It's not exactly fast, but the results are fantastic if you do it well. After that, just desaturate partially with whatever method you like.
