Corset retouch - how'd I do??

This is one of the more meticulous captures/retouch jobs I've done so far, so I want to know if I'm in the right direction...

pointers?
praises?

Thumbs up Re: Corset retouch - how'd I do??

I think you did a nice job. Very subtle. Got rid of the brassiness of her hair and it is perfect copper now. Subtle lighting change and nailed the skintone. Very nice.

I like what you've done, a very good effect.
I was just doing a bit of PWL and a touch of glowing skin.

I also like what you did. The original was set up nicely and all that was really required was subtle lighting/reflection changes, tonality and sharpening.
The rest may be up to personal taste, or objective of the project.
Good work !

Thanks for the replies.

However, Barry:
I was looking for thoughts on areas I overlooked or ways I could improve. On retouching aspects such as color, hair, skin, tonality, etc.
I wasn't really giving creative license to add diffuse glow or other photoshoppy effects. Especially done to the original, unretouched version.

Re: Corset retouch - how'd I do??

Ok, let's start over again. My fault, I did not explain myself properly, I'll say it again, I think you have done a very good job.

The only thing that I would suggest is that the skin tone is a touch to cool. That's the only reason I uploaded an image so you could see what I meant so you could compare it with yours, not to partake in any creative license to do "Photoshopy effects" as you put it.
I believe it is for the benifit of other members as well so they can visually see what I meant, I know that's what I like doing on other post's so I can compare different techniques, after all that's what this forum is all about, learning and sharing ideas.
Being a new member I'm still learning the ropes, if I have done something wrong would other members and patrons let me know.
If I have offended you, I apologize, I certainly did not mean to.
Carry on with the good work and have a nice day,
Barry.
