The fastest way to even an irregular background

Hi look at this picture the top left side is very irregular, now i know there is a fast way to deal with it but how? Also if you have other critics regarding retouching please feel free to help me become better

Try duplicating the background, Smudge in the background into the model, use a strong Gaussian blur and then just mask the model back into the picture.

Surfaceblur is your friend when smothing out backgrounds without destroying the shadows though.

You will need to mask out the foreground however which usually dont take too long.

After Gaussian or Surface blur, don't forget to add some noise!

I would also try to get rid of some red with color balance... A touch of cyan in the mid tones (I'm looking at your image with a calibrated screen for printing)...
