Skin-maps

Hi guys, just a quicky..

I read somewhere in the forums, something about skin-maps, often used by proffesional retouchers..

I wounder how they use, and how they make it...Reason is that i will never be a proffesinal retoucher myself, but i'm looking for some good..let's call em "semi-pros" tequnices...
So if anyone wanna share, i will be a very happy camper..

...and if any of u could link me to a tutorial or something, i shall dance on the table!!

Yeah I've been looking for skin texture to load too. I've read an interview that Pascal uses skin textures and has a stock vault of different eye lashes and everything.

No expert here but I have made my own and they often work great.

You can blur and heal and clone and smooth away then apply the texture and change the mode to soft light or overlay and sharpen to have perfect pores every time.

Check THIS excellent tutorial. About 3/4's of the way down you will come to a section named;

"Using the original skin pores and texture to add realism back into a smoothed picture: "

This section will show you how to make your own skin textures. There are many sites around with high resolution high quality models that you can use to make your textures.
