Talking Help! Photoshop newbie... =[

I've always had a passion for art but was limited to canvases for awhile. Always been into photography but looking to take it a step further. Though Ive never really been into "fixing" my photographs, I see the impact proficiency in retouching has on a picture. I've taken a look at other people's work and im amazed at the difference in the "before" and "after" fotos.. stunning. I'd really appreciate any tips or comments. thanks!!

Welcome to RP !
Yes, tips and comments sort of leaves it wide open. Actually, the whole site is full of tips and comments... so, I would agree with Swampy... start reading. In short, I would recommend perfecting the photography first. That way you don't have to rely on software tools to correct what went wrong in the shot. However, the software does open up a large outlet for creativeness, one that simply did not exist for everyone years ago. It will eventually consume you and all your spare time if you're not careful.

Best of luck and just dive in ... post, comment, enjoy !
