I'm a newbie at this re-touching world, but I have a fistful of old, dis-colored and crumpled up photos, so I thought this would be the best place to learn. I have Photoshop CS3 and an Epson 4490 Photo scanner, but it's like running uphill in molasses. Real slow going. The learning curve is horrific. I live out in the 'sticks', and have no access to colleges or training centers near me. So, I'm going to be 'self-taught', with a little help from you folks.

Looking forward to lurking until I find my way around.

An additional bit of info: The Janitor (Doug Nelson) prefers you not link to images on other servers, since those links can break and that makes the forum thread essentially useless for future readers.

After you post your less than 100K version, you could link to a site that is hosting a larger version.(like imagevenue.com or pixentral.com or photobucket.com)
