Adding a signature brush

I tried to create a signature brush to place in my images in CS2 and the one I had was fine until I had to reformat, and re-install.

Now the signature I have made looks soft and almost out of focus.

It reads: (centre justified)

Can anyone suggest (or make) a sharp brush so that I can add the above in a simple step rather than having to type it each time please?

Depending on the image, I change the font colour before adding the signature and then I fade it under the edit command, so an action would not be the best solution.

Have you tried to change your brush from soft to hard?

Re: Adding a signature brush

I made a simple click action that adds a text layer with my signature in it pretty simple to even have it auto align in different locations in the image.

Could you send me the action with the text of mine as above in it possibly?

Appreciate anything and everything!

Paul.

Re: Adding a signature brush

Is your signature scanned-in signature or is it a type layer?

Re: Adding a signature brush

Maybe I'm wrong, but when you use text as a brush and resize the brush - it blurs.

If you make a custom shape out of your text, you can make it any size.
