I have posted a a separate thread with a problem relating to this multiply layers.

How do you avoid having dark edges on the image after applying high-pass on these multiple layers? I can't seem to fix this.

Yes I have! the problem is around the edges, especially with this particular image i'm working on that has objects on the face(see attached image). When I reveal the high-passes on the masks and avoid the edges,the transition doesn't work at all and more D&B doesn't do justice either.
